WASHINGTON (Senator Mary Landrieu's Office) – United States Senator Mary Landrieu, D-La., today announced $46.5 in Department of Homeland Security infrastructure grant dollars will be awarded to Louisiana for 2008.

LPSO (Raceland) - Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre reported that the information obtained by detectives that led to the arrest of two suspects in the triple homicide that took place in Raceland Monday morning were released due to what detectives felt was lack of probable cause to charge the individuals with three counts of First Degree Murder.

LPSO (Raceland) - Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre reported that within 32 hours of a triple homicide that took place early Monday morning, one individual has been arrested and charged with three counts of First Degree Murder and one count of Attempted First Degree Murder.
