7 12th Annual Chili Cookoff: Sponsored by the Krewe of Mardi Gras and held at the Terrebonne Livestock
& Agricultural Building at the Houma Air Base, 221 Moffet Road from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. Features live
auction, live music, raffles & food. Open to the public. For more information, call Marlene Jewell (985) 851--6977.

13-15 14th Annual Southern Louisiana Boat, Sports & RV Show: The biggest 3 day boat and RV Sales
event of the year at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center, 346 Civic Center Blvd. Times: Friday, 1-8 pm,
Saturday, 10 am - 8 pm, Sunday, 11 am - 5 pm. Admission at door. $7 Adults, $2 children 6-15, under 6 free.
Friday night is family night. All children 12 years old and under admitted free with an adult. For more information,

Civic Center Drive. Annual Awards Banquet and Installation of 2010 Officers of the Houma-Terrebonne

24 Harlem Globetrotters: Houma Terrebonne Civic Center, 346 Civic Center Blvd. Beginning at 7:00 pm
Globetrotters  introduce Class of Newcomers, Highlighted by the Tallest Pro Basketball Player, the Shortest
Globetrotter ever and the team's first female in 19 years. Tickets start at $25.00 and are available at

28 Rodeo: First in the Winter series, sponsored by the Terrebonne Livestock Association and held at the Houma
Air Base Arena, 121 Moffet Road from 7pm-11pm. Features bull riding, barrel racing and lots more. Admission

Mini Mardi Gras Parade: Sponsored by Krewe of Aphrodite and Rouse's Supermarket. Registration begins
11 am, Parade begins at 12 Noon in the parking lot of Rouse's Supermarket, 5858 West Main Street. This is a
special day for the children in the community that dress in costumes and parade around with their home made
wagon floats throwing beads to the adults that have gathered around. A queen and king are crowned to rule

Chili Cook Off: Held on Main Street in Downtown Houma from 12:00 noon to 6:00pm $5.00 wrist band all you
can eat. There will be bands performing and 100% proceeds will go towards revitalizing downtown Houma. For
