NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA (FBI) – DYRON HART, age 19, was arrested yesterday having been charged by criminal complaint with sending threatening emails, announced FBI Special Agent in Charge David W. Welker and US Attorney Jim Letten. According to the affidavit in support of the criminal complaint, HART, of Poplarville, Mississippi, sent the threatening messages to three Nicholls State University students.

BATON ROUGE (DSS) – The Department of Social Services today announced the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Services had denied Louisiana’s request to issue a second month of Disaster Food Stamp benefits to residents in the following 13 parishes: Acadia, Allen, Beauregard, Jefferson Davis, Lafourche, Livingston, Orleans, Plaquemines, Sabine, St. Martin, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Vernon.
