3 Charged in Houma Postitution Sting

Houma (HPD) - On Wednesday 09/23/09 at 8:00pm Houma Police conducted a prostitution sting in the City of Houma with the assistance of the Louisiana State Police Investigative Division. This operation is being conducted due to numerous complaints received from citizens from various neighborhood watch groups regarding prostitution problems in the areas.

Officers issued three summonses for solicitation to prostitution after drivers solicited sexual favors for money to an undercover trooper. A female Trooper with the State Police acted as a prostitute. Officers conducted the sting in the areas of West Houma mainly Park Ave, Williams Avenue, Suthon Ave, Main Street, and Naquin Street.

Officers made their first arrest at 9:09pm in the parking lot of a gas station on the corner of Park Ave. and Barrow St. The suspect was identified as Willis Lebouef of Chauvin, LA.

The second arrest was at the Wildlife Museum off of Park Ave. at 11:10pm. The suspect as identified as Hector Rosales of  Friendswood Drive.

The third arrest occurred on Park Ave. near Suthon Ave. at 11:35pm. The suspect was identified as Ricky King, of Dayton, Texas.

All three suspects were issued summonses and given court dates.
